Dream About the Wedding Supper of the Lamb
On January 23, 2020, I had a dream that I was getting married. In the dream, I knew I was representing the bride of Christ marrying Jesus, and for some reason, I had complete certainty that the bridegroom was a Jew. Me and the Bridegroom were ready at the altar for the Wedding to begin, but right before the wedding started a big number of orthodox Jews started coming to the party as guests. I could tell they were religious Jews because they were dressed in black and white, as traditional orthodox Jews dress. I was surprised they were so many of them. I was a bit shocked when I saw them come because I was not anticipating having so many guests at the wedding. But then I figured that most likely the bridegroom had invited them because he was Jewish and these were his Jewish friends. His family. They all came by the thousands and they were very happy to be part of the wedding. They all danced and sang wedding songs with joy. One of the songs I remember the most strongly was about the bridegroom’s wine. It said that the wine came from the bridegroom and that they loved the taste of it. The wine was their favorite thing about the wedding and that is why they were there. They also said that wine overflowed when the bride and the bridegroom became one. The joy of these men and the euphoria were so great that I didn't care that there were so many of them because they brought a lot of joy to the celebration.
In my dream, I represented the bride of Christ ready and adorned to marry Jesus. And the Jewish bridegroom represents Christ, ready to marry his bride at the altar. I think that what God was trying to tell me through this dream was that right before the wedding supper of the Lamb there will be many religious Jews that will come to acknowledge that he is the Messiah and that we can’t forget that they are part of Jesus family and they will be his guests as well. They are the great multitude of Revelation 19:6-7 that are giving praise to the Lord like rushing waters and loud peals of thunder, rejoicing and shouting because the wedding of the Lamb has come. They are also blessed because they have been invited to the wedding supper.
Revelation 19:6-9 Then I heard what sounded like a great multitude, like the roar of rushing waters and like loud peals of thunder, shouting: “Hallelujah! For our Lord God Almighty reigns.7 Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory! For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready. 8 Fine linen, bright and clean, was given her to wear.”(Fine linen stands for the righteous acts of God’s holy people.) 9 Then the angel said to me, “Write this: Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb!” And he added, “These are the true words of God.”
Right before Jesus returns there will be great salvations happening in the Jewish Orthodox community and all of these Jews will become guests of the wedding supper of the Lord. Also, we need to understand that Jesus was a Jew, therefore his heart is for his Jewish family to be saved and to be part of the marriage supper of the Lamb. Zachariah 12:10 tells us that right before Jesus comes back he will put in them a spirit of grace and supplication. They will all cry out for their Yeshua (salvation) and then the savior of Israel will come from Zion.
Zachariah 12:10 “And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and supplication. They will look on me, the one they have pierced, and they will mourn for him as one mourn for an only child, and grieve bitterly for him as one grieves for a firstborn son.”
In the same manner, we know that according to Matthew 23:39 and Hoseah 5:15 Jesus won’t come back until the Jewish people repent and recognize him as his Messiah.
Matthew 23:39 “For I tell you, you will not see me again until you say, ‘Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.”
Hoseah 5:15 “I will go and return to my place, till they admit their guilt and search for me, seeking me eagerly in their distress."
And according to Romans 11:25-27, the Jewish people will be saved once the fullness of the Gentiles is complete. The deliverer will come from Zion and he will turn their rebellion away and wash their sins.
Romans 11:25-27 “I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers, and sisters, so that you may not be conceited: Israel has experienced a hardening in part until the full number of the Gentiles has come in, 26 and in this way, all Israel will be saved. As it is written: “The deliverer will come from Zion; he will turn godlessness away from Jacob. 27 And this is my covenant with them when I take away their sins.”
One more thing to keep in mind is the importance to have deep fellowship and oneness with Jesus as the bride of Christ because this is what will bring the Jews to the acknowledgment of Christ as the Messiah. His wine represents his atonement for sin and the Jews eventually will have a revelation of his blood and will be so joyful to know he died for them, but first, we need to become one with Jesus and with another in order for them to see the Jesus has been the one sent by the Lord.
John 17:20-23 “My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, 21 that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. 22 I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one— 23 I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.”
