Moses and Aaron Typifying the Brotherhood of Jews and Gentiles in the Last Days

Reflecting upon the story of Moses, I can’t even imagine what her mother felt when she put her little son in a basket and watched him take off to the unknown, to later be rescued by pharaoh’s daughter, a gentile woman. In Egypt Moses found a home and was protected and nourished until coming into adulthood and maturity.

Although Moses was a Hebrew by birth, he was raised by gentiles. Grew up surrounded by them, getting to dress like them and speak like them. Later in life being moved by the oppression the Hebrews were experiencing, he tried to defend them by killing one of their oppressors. And it was this very act that lead him to run away from Egypt into exile. In the wilderness, away from everyone, he had his burning bush experience, and received God’s call to go back to his family in order to deliver God’s people.

Through this amazing story I can’t help but see the parallel between Moses and the End Time Church.

As Moses, the message of the gospel was initially sent out to the gentile world in order to be protected. In this manner the gentile church has preserved it UNTIL reaching maturity. But once reaching its fullness among the gentiles, the message of the gospel will come back to the same place it came from. With the very purpose of delivering Israel from spiritual bondage.

Moses is a shadow of the message of the gospel among the gentile world, having the power to deliver God’s people. Moses’ mother is the shadow of the Lord sending his Son to the nations through the proclamation of the gospel. All with the purpose of preserving it and protecting it UNTIL the appointed time.

So even though to the human mind it is crazy for a mother to put her son into the water hoping he will survive, this was in fact God’s strategy to persevere his life.

In the same manner God has had a strategy to persevere the message of the gospel until reaching maturity, and has sent it to the gentiles in order to persevere it UNTIL the appointed time.

Because there will come a day when just like it happened to Moses’, the gentile remnant will have a burning bush experience understanding the very reason of their existence. At that time, the gentile church will respond the call and will join forces with his older brother Aaron. The one that never left home. The one who kept his Hebrew identity. The Jewish remnant. Together these two bothers will form a powerful alliance and will be used mightily to deliver Israel from spiritual slavery.

When that day comes we will see the Lord empower his two witnesses, as he did with Moses and Aaron. Together in the unity of the one new man, they will perform amazing signs and wonders. This is so that the people of Israel will believe that Adonai, the God of their fathers has sent them. Are you ready for your burning bush experience? The fire is on! Have your staff ready.
